Bieber Fever Backlash?

Bieber Fever Backlash?

by Aamyko 22nd February 201111:12

Recently Justin Bieber has been getting a lot of attention and no it's not cos of his "music." He spoke his mind and answered questions he maybe shouldn't have for Rolling Stone Magazine.

He talked about everything from abortion, healthcare and of course the gays. The topics they asked him about sound more like he was running for president than singing some crappy teen-dream jamz.

When asked about abortion the lil'angel had this to say: "Well, I think that's really sad but everything happens for a reason, I guess I haven't been in that position so I wouldn't be able to  judge that." He then went on to say that abortion is "like killing a baby." Hmmm.... I think he shuld have just answered: "I'll pass on that question."

Then when asked about homosexuality he had this to say: " it's everyone's own decision to do that. It doesn't affect me and it shouldn't affect anyone else." Again the boy should have kept his mouth shut.

Well, these comments have created a "Bieber Backlash," And now everyone is up in arms saying that Bieber is not a good role model and that he is sending out the wrong message to young people etc... I really can't believe that this is causing so much up-roar. I mean Justin is a stupid 16 yr old kid. He hasn't even finished high school. I think people need to put things into perspective here. Having said that I am not justifying what he has said cos I think he is full of shit but seriously who the fuck cares what he thinks of "serious" issues?

Now, it's over to you all. Should we all care about what Justin Bieber thinks on these topics or should we all just ignore? Have your say!

why are they asking  a 16 yr old such questions , what were they expecting a nobel prize winning speech  , it's the adults who ask the stupid questions who are at fault here , and worst still people actually take notice! how stupid are they , what lil miss bieber thinks about anything is of no concern to me

Why didn't his agent brief him on the simple rules of PR?  Such as don't open your mouth if you're retarded.

I really don't understand what was so bad about what he said about homosexuality. I thought it was a very fair, intelligent and mature answer - especially for a 16 year old. Give the dude a break, i think he's great!

My 16 year old would make similar comments. I don't think that makes them bad, they just have the benefit of young naivety.  Don't worry, they'll learn, it's the ones with more extreme views we need to be wary of.
