As Ricky Martin and XXX-tina once sang: nobody wants to be lonely and today, Valentine's day that is true for most of us! But what do we gays really think about this day that is for all the lovers? Do we love it? Do we hate it? Or do we just no longer care?

ManCentral polled over 4,500 members over the weekend as asked them to complete this sentence:

Valentine's day is....

With the following options: A) a great day to show your partner how much you love him B) a day which makes single people feel like crap C) just another day of vile commercialism and D) none of the above or other.

Well, I can say one thing, after taking a look at these results I don't think we are feeling any love for the day that is supposed to be all about just that! Coming in 4th place wih 12.38% was none of the above or other. In 3rd place with 23.18% we had, a great day to show your partner how much you love him. As you can all see that percentage is pretty low. Not even a quater of the fellas polled think Valentine's day is great!

In 2nd place with 32.16% we had, another day of Vile commercialism. This is what I get from most people who I talk to about this day. How it's "turned" into a day to just spend money and buy crap that nobody really wants. But I always say: hasn't it always been like that? I mean even in school we had to go and buy those nasty tasting hearts that said crap like : "Be Mine," or "You're Sweet."

Finally in first place, but not by much, with 32.28% we have, a day which makes single people feel like crap. Now, are you surprised the majority of the guys polled felt this way about Valentines Day or do all agree with the reuslts of the poll?
