I would like to believe that there are people that you get along with more than others and they might make great friends and maybe great lovers. I have met plenty of guys that have ticked a lot of the boxes but for some reason or another it just didn't work out, that leads me to believe that maybe I didn't tick any of their boxes.
So what are you supposed to do until you find someone that you don't want to slap or roll your eyes at every they open their mouth? Well, it's no big secret: DATE! Yes, this is what you have to do. Date your ass off! Now, I can hear most of you saying: What BIG fucking news! But I can tell you why it is so important for us Gays to date. I have a little theory.
When we were growing up most of us didn't have to opportunity to openly date other guys, bring them home to meet the parents, go to prom with them and do all the things that you are supposed to do in that "dating stage" of life, so we miss ou
t on all of it and then we expect to find a relationship? NO.
So, we have a lot of catching up to do. I mean even when you're in college some of us are still having trouble coming to terms with our sexuality and we go through that "BISEXUAL" phase which basically means "full fledged fag" and then when we finish college most are none the wiser in terms of sexuality.
So when we get out into the big, bad world we have to take matters into our own hands and do A LOT of catching up on our dating for all the years we didn't go out to dinner or to a movie with a guy that you might have more in common with than the fact that both of you like cock. This is something that most of us fail to understand when we are young. So we end up with the wrong kinda guys because we think: "well, he's the only openly Gay guy I know at the moment so let's give it a go." NO.
Play the field, put yourself out there and be ready for a lotta heartbreak, tears, confusion, happiness, pleasure, emotional highs (& lows) and little by little you'll be able to see who YOU really are and what YOU really want out of a relationship or if you even want a relationship!
