Yes, everyone and their grandmother, cat, and parrot are talking about the BIG WEDDING and of course there has never been a better time to start a move for gay marriage in the U.K
Gay rights activist Peter Tatchell wants Prince Willam & Kate Middleton to support gay marriage. Mr.Tatchell is currently pursuing full marriage equality at the European Court of Human Rights and has stated that civil partnerships are just not enough.
Mr. Tatchell did say something that is very true: "There would be an uproar if the government banned Jewish people to get married and offerd them civil partnerships instead. We would call it an anti-semitic law; something we would expect in Nazi Germany, not Democratic Britain. Well, Jews are not banned from getting married but gay people are."
Well, I totally agree with him and I think that having Civil Partnership for gays and not marriage makes it clear that there still is a difference between straight people and gays in this country. It is about time that the U.K embrace the diversity of its people and allow equal marriage to gays.
Do you think it is a good time to bring up the gay marriage issue now with with the Royal wedding or do you think it is a waste of time? It's over to you now and have your say!

We all know that when it comes to uploading pictures on to Facebook, you gotta be EXTRA careful cos anyone now, can report the pictures as "inappropriate" and you will soon find yourself with a warning and a possible profile suspension.
But, when are pictures too hot for Facebook? Well, they say that any picture that: contains nudity, or any kind of graphic or sexually suggestive content, are not permitted on Facebook. Well, how about a kiss? A kiss between 2 men? Is this sexually suggestive? Well, apparently it is.
US writer Niall O’Conghaile used an image of a gay kiss from the soap "EastEnders" to accompany his blog about the "gay-kiss-in" last Friday in support of the gay couple that got kicked out of The John Snow pub. Then, the editor of the Dangerous Minds blog, Richard Metzger, where the news story was published, posted the story on Facebook. He soon received a warning from site administrators about the image. Stating that it was removed because it was graphic and/or sexually suggestive.
Richard Metzger has now written Facebook to ask why the image was removed but so far no word from Facebook. I will be keeping a close eye on this story cos the same thing happened to me and I asked for the "Facebook Admin team" to give me a reason or at least the picture I had uploaded that was considered inappropriate but they never got back to me!
So, do you think the picture was offensive or sexually suggestive? Should Facebook relax or are they just trying to keep the site as "clean" as possible? You decide!
UPDATE!
Facebook has now said SORRY and released this statement: "The photo in question does not violate our Statement of Rights & Responsibilities and was removed in error. We apologise for the inconvenience."
Hundreds posted the picture as their profile pic to complain about the removal and it seems as though Facebook took action! Good on them!

After blogging about the couple getting kicked out of The John Snow Pub for kissing, hours later all hell broke loose and various media sources got a hold of the story and it spread like wild-fire! From The Pink Paper to The Guardian and finally ending up as the most read story on the BBC web-page, most were shocked that this would happen at all, let alone in Soho.
There are now 2 "Gay Kiss-In" events lined up. One for tonight which already has over 500 confirmed people, that will show up at The John Snow pub and order nothing but tap water and then kiss like there is no tomorrow. Then there is another day next week which 600 people have been confirmed to attend. One thing is for sure, the if the managers had a problem with a peck on the lips they better get ready to see a lot of lip-locking action!

Despite, many being shocked that a couple would get asked to leave a pub for kissing there have been many gays saying things like: "well, they were in a straight pub, so what were they doing kissing there anyway?" and "you never see straight people going to gay clubs and making out." These opinions are almost as bad as the actions of the John Snow pub itself. Saying that we can only "be gay" in gay places limits us to just certain areas where we can be ourselves and why should we restrict ourselves to showing the person we love, that we care for them with a kiss or a touch of the hand or even holding hands! Would you tell a black person "oh you shouldn't have been black in that pub cos it's for whites!" Certainly not! So that is just ridiculous!

The other comment that straight people don't go to gay clubs and make out is just stupid cos 1. this happened at a Pub not a club and 2. in almost any gay club you go to, you always find some straight couples there and yes, they do kiss and do you think we gays give a flying fuck? No we don't cos most of us truly do live by the saying: "Live and let live." It's called TOLERANCE. Look it up people!
It is important no matter how you feel about PDA's yourself that we as gay people support these kinds of demonstrations because WE CAN! We here in the UK are VERY fortunate to have laws that PROTECT US and we must make sure that we use them. There are countries in the world where the two men that were kicked out of a pub for kissing would not only have been kicked out but been sentenced to jail or in some parts of the world even killed. So, we must consider ourselves lucky and fight for our right to be just like you and me! I will be there tonight! Now, will you?

This certainly has not been the week of good news for us gays. This is yet another example of how homophobia is still alive and kicking even in London's Soho area.
Wednesday night, 26 yr old Jonathan Williams and his partner were on a date at the John Snow pub in Soho. They were both asked to leave the pub after the couple had kissed, oh no! Heaven forbid two men kissing in Soho! How scandalous!
After arguing, the man who had originally asked the two men to stop kissing took Jonathan by the collar and attempted to throw him out, but a third person (who claimed to be a plainclothes police officer) talked him down.
Johnanthan tried to get the manager's name but he was refused any names. Him and his partner both left furious and he plans on going back to the pub getting names and writing a letter of complaint to the head office.

This is just so ridiculous! I can not believe that a pub in soho (gay or not) would throw gays out for harmless public display of affection! EVERYONE would be in a fucking uproar if some pub kicked out an Asian, Muslim or black couple, why the hell are things like this still happening? This is truly sickening but sadly it will not be the last time a couple gets thrown out cos of their sexuality unless we take a stand and tell people we are not gonna take it anymore!
Hopefully Jonathan will get an apology and some sort of compensation for having to go through this kind of shit. I think, this will not be the last we hear of this story.
Over to you now... what would you have done if this had happened to you? How would react if you found yourself in this kind of situation? Did Jonathan and his partner act accordingly or should they have done something else? Let us hear it!

I really don't know how some columnists have jobs with some of the shit they write. Today, we have a shit spewing columnist from the Daily Star, Joe Mott with a comment that I had to read twice to actually believe that it was printed by the newspaper.
Last Sunday this idiot made a remark about Ricky Gervais' recent weightloss writing the following: "not being bad but if Ricky Gervais was homosexual, you'd be wondering if he was, you know, ill. His dramatic weight-loss has left him looking like a dying man."

How can anyone be so fucking ignorant? This is not funny and it certainly should not be printed in a newspaper for all to read. Why would anyone spread such shit all over what charities like the Terrence Higgins Trust have tried to do in terms of educating people when it comes to HIV and AIDS. Well, everyone is pissed off and are demanding for the Daily Star to apologise. No word form the newspaper as of yet.
What do you think the Daily Star should do now? Is apologising enough or should they do something bigger to show they are twats for printing such crap? You be the judge!
