Practice What You Preach!

by Aamyko 1st March 201113:58

Some people never realise one thing: Karma is a HUGE Bitch! If you are a judgemental asshole to everyone around you yapping all sorts of shit to other people then you will most deffo get it all back!

Case in point: Reverend Grant Storms, who back in 2004, protested a gay event (along with other bible thumping peeps) in the French quarter of New Orleans (U.S.A) and telling anyone who would give him the time that: " having sex or masturbating in the middle of the street is illegal and immoral."

Well, it seems as though the Reverend has changed his tune cos on Feb 25th he was caught in the act. Well, not having sex but giving his penis a good ole tug in his van while watching children play in Lafreniere Park. Storm has said that he was "relieving" himself in a bottle. Hmmm.... sounds like someone is telling a little lie!

We will see what the courts have to say about this one but if found guilty he could face up to 3 years in jail and a fine. Seriously, WTF? How can this guy be so stupid? Anyway, I think 3 years in jail is a bit soft. In the video report a Grandmother said he should have his cock cut off!! You so don't wanna mess with a Southern Mee-Maw!

What do you think, should something more severe happen to this jolly time Reverend? Have your say!

Can U Go A Week Without Your Computer?

by Aamyko 28th February 201112:24

It seems that nowadays you just can't do anything without a computer. We can order food with it, can order movies, you name it and we can have it all with just a simple press of the "enter" button.

We use computers to chat to friends, families and of course to find dates, relationships and hot-n-horny fuck sessions. Of course we can not leave porn out! Can you imagine a week without porn sites? Or worse a week without Mancentral!

So, what would happen if you had to go an entire week without a computer? I'm talking no laptops, home or office computers and no cheating by using ur phone to check mails, or go on line. Does that sound scary or would you welcome that kind of high-tech relief?

Would you be able to do it? Have our lives become so dependent on computers that just the idea of going without one for an entire week makes us feel sick to our stomach? I don't know how long I would last without using my laptop, I think I might have to try it for a weekend and see how I feel by Sunday night.

So let's hear it would YOU be able to go without your beloved computer for a week or would that be too much to ask? What's the longest you have gone without using a computer and how did you feel? Have your say!

Is East London A "Gay Free" Zone?

by Aamyko 24th February 201121:16

Over the past couple of weeks in some parts of East London stickers have been placed declaring it a "Gay Free Zone."  These stickers have been posted close to gay pubs and clubs around the area with a message that says: "Arise and warn. Gay Free Zone. Verily Allah is severe in Punishment."

Tower Hamlets council has been working towards making the borough  a LGBT friendly area and now residents are saying these stickers are a warning that Islamic extremists have not gone away from the streets. According recent police figures a homophobic crime is committed at the rate of more than 5 a month.

Some people of the Shoreditch/Whitechapel area say that the stickers were put up by members of Islam4UK which has been accused of being a front for the banned Al Mahajaroun group.

The Muslim Council of Britain has released this statement regaurding the stickers: "We stand frimly against discrimination or violence of any people. These stickers are wrong and not in keeping with our Islamic teaching of respecting our neighbours."

Finally, Tower Hamlets has said this: “We work hard to actively foster a climate of acceptance and tolerance, and combat all forms of discrimination and harassment within the borough. We are appalled by the actions of those who have produced and posted these stickers. We treat issues like this very seriously, and these incidents are being investigated by the borough’s Hate Crime Team who are working alongside the local police."

What do you make of this story? Do you feel there is more homophobia out there or this incident a one-off? Have your say!

Bieber Fever Backlash?

by Aamyko 22nd February 201111:12

Recently Justin Bieber has been getting a lot of attention and no it's not cos of his "music." He spoke his mind and answered questions he maybe shouldn't have for Rolling Stone Magazine.

He talked about everything from abortion, healthcare and of course the gays. The topics they asked him about sound more like he was running for president than singing some crappy teen-dream jamz.

When asked about abortion the lil'angel had this to say: "Well, I think that's really sad but everything happens for a reason, I guess I haven't been in that position so I wouldn't be able to  judge that." He then went on to say that abortion is "like killing a baby." Hmmm.... I think he shuld have just answered: "I'll pass on that question."

Then when asked about homosexuality he had this to say: " it's everyone's own decision to do that. It doesn't affect me and it shouldn't affect anyone else." Again the boy should have kept his mouth shut.

Well, these comments have created a "Bieber Backlash," And now everyone is up in arms saying that Bieber is not a good role model and that he is sending out the wrong message to young people etc... I really can't believe that this is causing so much up-roar. I mean Justin is a stupid 16 yr old kid. He hasn't even finished high school. I think people need to put things into perspective here. Having said that I am not justifying what he has said cos I think he is full of shit but seriously who the fuck cares what he thinks of "serious" issues?

Now, it's over to you all. Should we all care about what Justin Bieber thinks on these topics or should we all just ignore? Have your say!

Social Butterflies?

by Aamyko 16th February 201112:22

Last week my Facebook account was "disabled" due to the fact that I had uploaded a picture that was against their "rules and regulations." I sent them a complaint and asked to let me know exactly which picture I had uploaded that was so offensive. I mean, I am somewhat careful of what I upload cos my mom is a "friend" of mine and I wouldn't be uploading pictures of cocks or bum shots. My mom would deffo not approve.

My account was "disabled" for about 4 days and  the first day I was fine. I really didn't care cos I knew I had done nothing wrong. Then the 2nd a 3rd day... well... they weren't fun. I felt as though I was living in a bubble. I had no idea what was going on with my friends and I got texts like: "where are you?," what happened to your Facebook profile?," and to be honest I felt totally out of the loop. It did not feel good.

This made me ask myself what the hell would I do without Facebook and more importantly when the hell did I become so dependent on it? It is scary to think that something was created that you use everyday and when you don't have it anymore you feel somewhat... (I know this sounds a bit extreme) incomplete!

It seems that the whole world now is on Facebook (over 500 million) or is uploading some naked pic of them selves on twitter so I thought perfect chance for a poll and the question was:

Which one of the following social media networks could you not live without?

The choices were a) Twitter b) Bebo c) MySpace d) Facebook and finally e) none of the above

Well let's start off witht the ones that hardly anyone use Bebo had 0.55%, so that really is not poplular, then we had MySpace and both Twitter with exactly 1.01% each. I was surprised with Twitter not being used. I thought EVERYONE was on Twitter. Well maybe it's more of an American thing but then what of all those hunky guys uploading their semi-naked "twitpics?"

Then coming in 2nd place we have Facebook with 41.19% No surprises here, however I did think it would be slightly higer. Finally, coming in 1st place with over 56% the majority of you answered none of the above. So more than half of you can live without some sort of social media network in your lives!

Comments left on some of your answers summed it up pretty well I think. Someone commented: "They are all rubbish and cause more trouble than anything else! Boring!"

And: " Dull, Dull, Dull. A useful tool wasted by masses of brainless people with no intelect, no point to their lives and no understanding of real rleationships."

Ouch! Pretty harsh words! So, what do you make of the results? If people feel that they are a waste of time, why are they so popular? Comment away and have your say!
